Driving standards through software
Located in the Kent City of Canterbury, X:drive was established as a software development company in 1999. Working with a wide range of customers from international hauliers and car importers to Sky satellite installers and Colleges, X:drive's knowledge of several industry sectors soon became a base of expertise and reference to their ever growing client base.
In December 2005 X:drive developed WhosOff (The online staff leave planner) which has grown from strength to strength to become one of the market leaders in absence management systems. Winning several prestigious national awards over the last few years WhosOff has been able to grow to over 100,000 users based in over 65 countries.
WhosOffice is the newest platform in the family, released late 2014 with the aim of providing orgnisations more flexibility and management over their workforce.

G-Cloud 10 is the latest version (July 2018) of the purchasing framework provided by the CCS, which enables public sector organisations in the UK to identify, select, and purchase services from pre-approved suppliers.
Since 2016, WhosOff & WhosOffice have been pre-approved G-Cloud suppliers and as such can be used by organisations across the UK public sector including central government, local government, health, education, devolved administrations, emergency services, defence and not-for-profit organisations.
Philip Cross, Director at X:drive commented:
We are delighted to be continually associated as a G-Cloud supplier. Although our products operate in over 65 countries, by conforming to the standards set within the G-Cloud Marketplace we are pleased to now be able to offer our leave and absence management systems to public sector bodies without the need to tender for opportunities, which leads to higher costs and procurement times.
X:drive have two products offered within the Saas (Software as a Service) lot of the latest version of G-Cloud, these are WhosOff and WhosOffice.
Centralised staff leave and absence management. By employing simple user facing controls to allow staff to request holiday, whilst behind the scenes managing your organisations' leave rules.
